About Settli<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p class=\"lead\">\r\n Settli is a Swedish rental-housing marketplace that helps tenants\r\n discover rental homes and helps landlords find potential tenants.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Through the Settli app, users may create tenant and\/or landlord\r\n profiles, browse rental listings, indicate interest in properties\r\n or users, match with other users, communicate through in-app\r\n messaging and, where the parties agree, facilitate the electronic\r\n signing of a rental contract.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Settli provides the marketplace and technical infrastructure.\r\n Unless expressly stated otherwise, Settli is not a party to the\r\n rental agreement entered into between a landlord and a tenant.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <div class=\"notice\">\r\n <strong>Important<\/strong>\r\n A match, conversation or other interaction through Settli does\r\n not by itself create a tenancy, rental agreement or other legal\r\n relationship between users. A rental relationship arises only\r\n when the relevant parties enter into an applicable rental\r\n agreement.\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"acceptance\">\r\n <h2>2. Acceptance of these Terms<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n By creating an account, accessing or using Settli, you agree to\r\n these Terms and Conditions and agree to comply with applicable\r\n laws and regulations.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not create an account\r\n or use Settli.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n These Terms apply together with our\r\n <a href=\"\/en\/privacy-policy.html\/\">Privacy Policy<\/a>, which explains\r\n how Settli collects, uses, stores and otherwise processes personal\r\n data.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"eligibility\">\r\n <h2>3. Eligibility<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n <p>\r\n Settli is intended for adults who are at least 18 years old and legally\r\n capable of entering into agreements relating to the use of the service and,\r\n where applicable, rental agreements.\r\n<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n By using Settli, you confirm that the information you provide is\r\n accurate and that you meet the applicable eligibility requirements.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n You must not use Settli if doing so would violate applicable law\r\n or any restriction that applies to you.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"accounts\">\r\n <h2>4. Accounts<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n You must provide accurate, current and complete information when\r\n creating and maintaining your Settli account.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n One Settli account may contain both a tenant profile and a\r\n landlord profile. You are responsible for ensuring that the\r\n information associated with each role is accurate and up to date.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <h3>Account security<\/h3>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n You are responsible for maintaining reasonable control over your\r\n account and the devices you use to access Settli. Login\r\n verification codes must not be shared with other people.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n If you believe that someone has accessed your account without\r\n permission, you should contact Settli promptly.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <h3>One person, one account<\/h3>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n You must not create or operate accounts for other people without\r\n their authorisation, impersonate another person or deliberately\r\n provide misleading identity information.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"roles\">\r\n <h2>5. Tenant and landlord roles<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Settli supports two primary user roles: tenants and landlords.\r\n Depending on your circumstances, you may use one or both roles\r\n through the same account.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <div class=\"rights\">\r\n\r\n <div class=\"right\">\r\n <h3>Tenant<\/h3>\r\n <p>\r\n A tenant may browse available rental listings, create a\r\n tenant profile, indicate interest in properties, match with\r\n landlords and communicate with matched users.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n\r\n <div class=\"right\">\r\n <h3>Landlord<\/h3>\r\n <p>\r\n A landlord may create and manage rental listings, review\r\n relevant tenant information, accept or decline potential\r\n matches and communicate with matched users.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n\r\n <\/div>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Using a particular role does not give you any right to access\r\n information that is not made available to you through the Settli\r\n service or that you are not otherwise legally entitled to access.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"tenant\">\r\n <h2>6. Tenant responsibilities<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n If you use Settli as a tenant, you are responsible for ensuring\r\n that information in your tenant profile is truthful, relevant and\r\n not misleading.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>You must:<\/p>\r\n\r\n <ul>\r\n <li>Provide accurate information about yourself.<\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Keep relevant profile information reasonably up to date.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Communicate honestly and respectfully with landlords and other\r\n users.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Not misrepresent your identity, financial position or\r\n circumstances.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Not use Settli to obtain access to properties or information\r\n for an unlawful purpose.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <\/ul>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"landlord\">\r\n <h2>7. Landlord responsibilities<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n If you use Settli as a landlord, you are responsible for the\r\n accuracy and legality of the rental listings you publish.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>You must:<\/p>\r\n\r\n <ul>\r\n <li>\r\n Only list properties that you are legally authorised to offer\r\n for rent.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Provide accurate information about the property, rent,\r\n availability, amenities and applicable house rules.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Keep listing information reasonably up to date.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Communicate honestly with prospective tenants.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Comply with applicable Swedish rental, housing,\r\n anti-discrimination and consumer-protection laws.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Not use Settli to publish fraudulent, misleading or unlawful\r\n rental offers.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <\/ul>\r\n\r\n <div class=\"notice\">\r\n <strong>Landlord responsibility<\/strong>\r\n Settli does not guarantee that a landlord has the legal right to\r\n rent a particular property or that any listing complies with\r\n applicable rental laws. Landlords remain responsible for their\r\n listings and rental activities.\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"listings\">\r\n <h2>8. Listings and user content<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Users may upload or submit content to Settli, including profile\r\n photographs, listing photographs, biographies, property\r\n information, messages and material submitted in reports.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <h3>Your responsibility for content<\/h3>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n You are responsible for the content you submit and must ensure\r\n that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide it\r\n to Settli.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Content must not be unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory,\r\n discriminatory, threatening, abusive or otherwise inappropriate.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <h3>Licence to operate the service<\/h3>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n By submitting content to Settli, you grant Settli a\r\n non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store,\r\n reproduce, process and display that content to the extent\r\n reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure and improve the\r\n Settli service.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n This licence ends when the content is deleted, except to the\r\n extent Settli is required or permitted to retain it under\r\n applicable law or as otherwise described in our\r\n <a href=\"\/en\/privacy-policy.html\/\">Privacy Policy<\/a>.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"matching\">\r\n <h2>9. Matching and communication<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Settli may allow tenants and landlords to indicate interest in\r\n one another or in rental listings. Where the relevant conditions\r\n are met, a match may be created.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n A match does not guarantee that a rental agreement will be\r\n entered into, that a property is suitable, or that a user is\r\n trustworthy or legally entitled to offer or rent a property.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Chat functionality is provided to allow matched users to\r\n communicate. Users are responsible for the statements,\r\n representations and agreements they make in those conversations.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n You should exercise appropriate caution when communicating with\r\n people you have not previously met.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"contracts\">\r\n <h2>10. Rental contracts and BankID<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Where a tenant and landlord agree to proceed with a rental,\r\n Settli may provide functionality that allows the parties to\r\n execute a rental contract electronically through the app.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <h3>Electronic signing<\/h3>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Settli uses an electronic-signing provider together with BankID\r\n for the relevant signing process.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n BankID is used to electronically identify the signing party and\r\n support the signing process. Information required for identity\r\n verification may therefore be processed as part of the signing\r\n process.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <h3>Responsibility for the rental agreement<\/h3>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n The tenant and landlord are responsible for reviewing the rental\r\n agreement before signing it and for ensuring that its terms are\r\n accurate and legally appropriate.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Once a rental agreement has been validly signed, the parties are\r\n responsible for complying with that agreement and with applicable\r\n law.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <div class=\"notice\">\r\n <strong>Important<\/strong>\r\n Settli provides technical functionality for electronic signing\r\n but does not act as a legal representative of either the tenant\r\n or landlord and does not guarantee that a particular rental\r\n agreement is suitable for the parties' circumstances.\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"acceptable-use\">\r\n <h2>11. Acceptable use<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n You must use Settli only for its intended purposes and in\r\n compliance with applicable law.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>You must not:<\/p>\r\n\r\n <ul>\r\n <li>\r\n Use Settli for fraudulent, deceptive or unlawful activities.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Create fake profiles or impersonate another person.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Publish false, misleading or fraudulent rental listings.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Harass, threaten, stalk, discriminate against or abuse another\r\n user.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Attempt to obtain passwords, verification codes or other\r\n authentication information from another user.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Upload malicious software, harmful code or content designed to\r\n disrupt the service.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Scrape, systematically collect or otherwise misuse information\r\n made available through Settli.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Circumvent security measures or attempt to gain unauthorised\r\n access to Settli systems.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Use Settli to advertise unrelated products or services without\r\n our permission.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Use another person's personal information without a lawful\r\n basis or appropriate permission.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <\/ul>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"safety\">\r\n <h2>12. Safety, reports and blocks<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Settli provides reporting and blocking functionality to help\r\n users respond to suspected fraud, abuse, inappropriate behaviour\r\n or other safety concerns.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n You should report suspicious listings, behaviour or communications\r\n through the available Settli reporting functionality where\r\n appropriate.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Settli may review reports and take action where we consider it\r\n necessary to protect users, the platform or third parties. About Settli<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p class=\"lead\">\r\n Settli is a Swedish rental-housing marketplace that helps tenants\r\n discover rental homes and helps landlords find potential tenants.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Through the Settli app, users may create tenant and\/or landlord\r\n profiles, browse rental listings, indicate interest in properties\r\n or users, match with other users, communicate through in-app\r\n messaging and, where the parties agree, facilitate the electronic\r\n signing of a rental contract.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Settli provides the marketplace and technical infrastructure.\r\n Unless expressly stated otherwise, Settli is not a party to the\r\n rental agreement entered into between a landlord and a tenant.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <div class=\"notice\">\r\n <strong>Important<\/strong>\r\n A match, conversation or other interaction through Settli does\r\n not by itself create a tenancy, rental agreement or other legal\r\n relationship between users. A rental relationship arises only\r\n when the relevant parties enter into an applicable rental\r\n agreement.\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"acceptance\">\r\n <h2>2. Eligibility<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n <p>\r\n Settli is intended for adults who are at least 18 years old and legally\r\n capable of entering into agreements relating to the use of the service and,\r\n where applicable, rental agreements.\r\n<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n By using Settli, you confirm that the information you provide is\r\n accurate and that you meet the applicable eligibility requirements.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n You must not use Settli if doing so would violate applicable law\r\n or any restriction that applies to you.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"accounts\">\r\n <h2>4. Accounts<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n You must provide accurate, current and complete information when\r\n creating and maintaining your Settli account.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n One Settli account may contain both a tenant profile and a\r\n landlord profile. You are responsible for ensuring that the\r\n information associated with each role is accurate and up to date.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <h3>Account security<\/h3>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n You are responsible for maintaining reasonable control over your\r\n account and the devices you use to access Settli. Login\r\n verification codes must not be shared with other people.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n If you believe that someone has accessed your account without\r\n permission, you should contact Settli promptly.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <h3>One person, one account<\/h3>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n You must not create or operate accounts for other people without\r\n their authorisation, impersonate another person or deliberately\r\n provide misleading identity information.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"roles\">\r\n <h2>5. Tenant and landlord roles<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Settli supports two primary user roles: tenants and landlords.\r\n Depending on your circumstances, you may use one or both roles\r\n through the same account.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <div class=\"rights\">\r\n\r\n <div class=\"right\">\r\n <h3>Tenant<\/h3>\r\n <p>\r\n A tenant may browse available rental listings, create a\r\n tenant profile, indicate interest in properties, match with\r\n landlords and communicate with matched users.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n\r\n <div class=\"right\">\r\n <h3>Landlord<\/h3>\r\n <p>\r\n A landlord may create and manage rental listings, review\r\n relevant tenant information, accept or decline potential\r\n matches and communicate with matched users.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n\r\n <\/div>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Using a particular role does not give you any right to access\r\n information that is not made available to you through the Settli\r\n service or that you are not otherwise legally entitled to access.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"tenant\">\r\n <h2>6. Tenant responsibilities<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n If you use Settli as a tenant, you are responsible for ensuring\r\n that information in your tenant profile is truthful, relevant and\r\n not misleading.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>You must:<\/p>\r\n\r\n <ul>\r\n <li>Provide accurate information about yourself.<\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Keep relevant profile information reasonably up to date.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Communicate honestly and respectfully with landlords and other\r\n users.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Not misrepresent your identity, financial position or\r\n circumstances.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Not use Settli to obtain access to properties or information\r\n for an unlawful purpose.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <\/ul>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"landlord\">\r\n <h2>7. Landlord responsibilities<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n If you use Settli as a landlord, you are responsible for the\r\n accuracy and legality of the rental listings you publish.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>You must:<\/p>\r\n\r\n <ul>\r\n <li>\r\n Only list properties that you are legally authorised to offer\r\n for rent.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Provide accurate information about the property, rent,\r\n availability, amenities and applicable house rules.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Keep listing information reasonably up to date.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Communicate honestly with prospective tenants.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Comply with applicable Swedish rental, housing,\r\n anti-discrimination and consumer-protection laws.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Not use Settli to publish fraudulent, misleading or unlawful\r\n rental offers.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <\/ul>\r\n\r\n <div class=\"notice\">\r\n <strong>Landlord responsibility<\/strong>\r\n Settli does not guarantee that a landlord has the legal right to\r\n rent a particular property or that any listing complies with\r\n applicable rental laws. Landlords remain responsible for their\r\n listings and rental activities.\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"listings\">\r\n <h2>8. Listings and user content<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Users may upload or submit content to Settli, including profile\r\n photographs, listing photographs, biographies, property\r\n information, messages and material submitted in reports.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <h3>Your responsibility for content<\/h3>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n You are responsible for the content you submit and must ensure\r\n that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide it\r\n to Settli.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Content must not be unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory,\r\n discriminatory, threatening, abusive or otherwise inappropriate.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <h3>Licence to operate the service<\/h3>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n By submitting content to Settli, you grant Settli a\r\n non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store,\r\n reproduce, process and display that content to the extent\r\n reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure and improve the\r\n Settli service.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n This licence ends when the content is deleted, except to the\r\n extent Settli is required or permitted to retain it under\r\n applicable law or as otherwise described in our\r\n <a href=\"\/en\/privacy-policy.html\/\">Privacy Policy<\/a>.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"matching\">\r\n <h2>9. Matching and communication<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Settli may allow tenants and landlords to indicate interest in\r\n one another or in rental listings. Where the relevant conditions\r\n are met, a match may be created.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n A match does not guarantee that a rental agreement will be\r\n entered into, that a property is suitable, or that a user is\r\n trustworthy or legally entitled to offer or rent a property.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Chat functionality is provided to allow matched users to\r\n communicate. Users are responsible for the statements,\r\n representations and agreements they make in those conversations.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n You should exercise appropriate caution when communicating with\r\n people you have not previously met.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"contracts\">\r\n <h2>10. Rental contracts and BankID<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Where a tenant and landlord agree to proceed with a rental,\r\n Settli may provide functionality that allows the parties to\r\n execute a rental contract electronically through the app.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <h3>Electronic signing<\/h3>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Settli uses an electronic-signing provider together with BankID\r\n for the relevant signing process.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n BankID is used to electronically identify the signing party and\r\n support the signing process. Information required for identity\r\n verification may therefore be processed as part of the signing\r\n process.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <h3>Responsibility for the rental agreement<\/h3>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n The tenant and landlord are responsible for reviewing the rental\r\n agreement before signing it and for ensuring that its terms are\r\n accurate and legally appropriate.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Once a rental agreement has been validly signed, the parties are\r\n responsible for complying with that agreement and with applicable\r\n law.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <div class=\"notice\">\r\n <strong>Important<\/strong>\r\n Settli provides technical functionality for electronic signing\r\n but does not act as a legal representative of either the tenant\r\n or landlord and does not guarantee that a particular rental\r\n agreement is suitable for the parties' circumstances.\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"acceptable-use\">\r\n <h2>11. Acceptable use<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n You must use Settli only for its intended purposes and in\r\n compliance with applicable law.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>You must not:<\/p>\r\n\r\n <ul>\r\n <li>\r\n Use Settli for fraudulent, deceptive or unlawful activities.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Create fake profiles or impersonate another person.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Publish false, misleading or fraudulent rental listings.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Harass, threaten, stalk, discriminate against or abuse another\r\n user.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Attempt to obtain passwords, verification codes or other\r\n authentication information from another user.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Upload malicious software, harmful code or content designed to\r\n disrupt the service.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Scrape, systematically collect or otherwise misuse information\r\n made available through Settli.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Circumvent security measures or attempt to gain unauthorised\r\n access to Settli systems.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Use Settli to advertise unrelated products or services without\r\n our permission.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <li>\r\n Use another person's personal information without a lawful\r\n basis or appropriate permission.\r\n <\/li>\r\n <\/ul>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"safety\">\r\n <h2>12. Safety, reports and blocks<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Settli provides reporting and blocking functionality to help\r\n users respond to suspected fraud, abuse, inappropriate behaviour\r\n or other safety concerns.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n You should report suspicious listings, behaviour or communications\r\n through the available Settli reporting functionality where\r\n appropriate.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Settli may review reports and take action where we consider it\r\n necessary to protect users, the platform or third parties. This\r\n may include removing content, restricting functionality,\r\n suspending accounts or terminating accounts.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Settli does not guarantee that every fraudulent, unsafe or\r\n inappropriate activity will be detected or prevented.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"termination\">\r\n <h2>13. Suspension and termination<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n You may stop using Settli and request deletion of your account at\r\n any time, subject to any applicable legal or contractual\r\n obligations.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Settli may suspend, restrict or terminate your access where we\r\n reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, applicable\r\n law, or where action is reasonably necessary to protect users,\r\n Settli or third parties.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <h3>Examples of grounds for action<\/h3>\r\n\r\n <ul>\r\n <li>Fraudulent or deceptive activity.<\/li>\r\n <li>Fake or misleading rental listings.<\/li>\r\n <li>Harassment, threats or abusive behaviour.<\/li>\r\n <li>Unauthorised access or attempts to compromise the service.<\/li>\r\n <li>Repeated violations of these Terms.<\/li>\r\n <li>Conduct that creates a significant safety or legal risk.<\/li>\r\n <\/ul>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Where appropriate and legally permissible, Settli may provide\r\n notice before taking action. Immediate action may be taken where\r\n necessary to prevent harm, fraud, security incidents or other\r\n serious misuse.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <h3>Effect of termination<\/h3>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Termination of your Settli account does not automatically cancel\r\n or invalidate a rental agreement that you have already entered\r\n into with another party. Your rights and obligations under such\r\n an agreement are governed by that agreement and applicable law.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"availability\">\r\n <h2>14. Service availability<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n We aim to keep Settli available and functioning reliably, but we\r\n do not guarantee that the service will always be available,\r\n uninterrupted or error-free.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Settli may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance,\r\n updates, technical problems, third-party services, network\r\n failures or circumstances outside our reasonable control.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the service where\r\n reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"liability\">\r\n <h2>15. Liability<\/h2>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Settli provides a technology platform connecting tenants and\r\n landlords. We do not own, manage or inspect every property\r\n listed through the service and do not guarantee the conduct,\r\n identity, financial position or legal status of users.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n To the extent permitted by applicable law, Settli is not\r\n responsible for losses arising from agreements, communications\r\n or interactions between users, including disputes concerning\r\n rental properties or rental contracts.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability to the extent\r\n that such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable\r\n law.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <h3>Consumer rights<\/h3>\r\n\r\n <p>\r\n If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms is intended to\r\n restrict any mandatory rights or protections that apply to you\r\n under applicable law.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n <section id=\"indemnity\">\r\n <h2>16.
